Sassy is a community cat in Brooklyn who has a wonderful caretaker who provides housing and food every day to her colony. The caretaker noticed that Sassy was not eating and drooling profusely. She asked if we could help get Sassy to a vet. As part of our TNR program we provide assistance to community cat caretakers if a cat is injured or in need of medical care, as the case was with Sassy. Our vet treated Sassy for the inflammation in her mouth and also gave her vaccines and flea preventative. She was then released back to her colony where her caretaker keeps a watchful eye on her.
