Linus came to Sarama at only six months old. He came to us from a local NJ shelter who didn’t have the resources to treat his severe stomatitis, which is a painful inflammation in the mouth. Stress can make it worse and being in a shelter can be very stressful for a kitty. He was transferred to Sarama and decompressed in a foster home. He was treated by the vet for his inflammation and thankfully with medication, his condition was under control and he was comfortable and happy.
He bonded with other cats in the foster home and we knew it would be best if Linus got adopted to a multi cat household. And that’s what happened! Eli (formerly Butterball) was also adopted from Sarama and his family decided to also adopt Linus. The two are best buds and are almost always together. We couldn’t be happier for them both!
