Just found this photo of Phoenix, my very first cat foster ️️
I was volunteering at a local shelter in Queens, walking dogs and she was just sitting in the middle of the sidewalk. She was itty bitty then and had signs of a URI. The shelter I was volunteering for was full and couldn’t take her. so took her home and she became a Sarama Animal Rescue kitty. I always thought I couldn’t or shouldn’t foster cats because of my allergies but we made it work! She stayed with me till she was better and old enough to get vaccinated and spayed. She was then adopted to a friend of mine. He sent me videos of her the other day ️ She is still as silly and playful as she was when she was a kitten. Since then I’ve fostered many other cats but it all started with this little girl. She will always have a special place in my heart.
