Roxie is a short, stocky girl with a big heart, she has the low rider body of a bull dog and the blocky head of a pitbull or a boxer. She came to us from the local shelter in Philly where she was on death row. She had been brought in as a stray and was in pretty bad shape. After some vet visits and lots of TLC from her foster family, she is feeling much better!
Roxie is a snuggle bug and loves to be with her family. We wouldn’t say she is lazy but she does enjoy the finer things in life. She is known in her foster home for sleeping in and afternoon naps. Besides a good snooze, Roxie also enjoys leisurely walks, belly rubs and chewing on her favorite chew toys. Her foster family said she isn’t a high maintenance dog and pretty much goes with the flow. She is house broken and crate trained and will sit for treats. While Roxie has been great with all the people she has met, she would do best as your only dog. If you are looking to be a one dog household, Roxie is looking to be your one and only. Please email us for more info on Roxie or to set up a meet!
